Tollco Water Alarm

Description

Water alarm for refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher is an active leak detection alarm developed to meet the new industry requirements for water-safe kitchens. The alarm complements traditional passive protection, such as floor trays and drip guards, by actively warning in the event of water leakage.

When water is detected, a clear audible alarm is activated, allowing leaks to be identified early and addressed before major damage occurs.

• The water alarm is placed on the floor near the refrigerator, freezer or dishwasher
• The external sensors are positioned at suitable risk points, for example at the front and rear of a dishwasher and on both sides of a refrigerator or freezer

The product is supplied as a complete kit including water alarm unit, cables, moisture sensors and batteries.

The water alarm is equipped with a total of three sensors for reliable water detection:

• Two external, cotton-covered sensors that react quickly to moisture
• One integrated sensor in the main unit

The external sensors are supplied with extended cables (3 metres) and are placed under the refrigerator, freezer or dishwasher where the risk of leakage is highest.

• Powered by a 3V battery
• Colour: White

According to updated industry regulations from January 2026, passive protection in kitchens must be complemented with an active alarm that provides an audible warning in the event of leakage.
